We are Gemma and David Greenway, we are exibitors and Kennel Club Assured breeders of Dogue de Bordeaux, we also run a dog grooming salon from our home, in Coleford, Forest of Dean.
We have a love for the Dogue de Bordeaux breed, we have 11 at the moment, along with our French Bulldog Willow.
The health and future of our breed is our passion, we will only breed from breed standard, health tested parents and we will only breed to retain, to continue our lines and expand our kennel. Any puppies we do have for sale will leave wanting for nothing and be fully endorsed, to only the very best of homes.
Our Love for the breed began with our girl Lola, although she can be a little 'challenging' we will say, we fell in love with the personality and the loyalty of these giant ginger softies. We then took on Amber a small girl that couldn,t be kept by her currently family, and she just made our love for the breed grow stronger and deeper, the love Amber showed us couldn't be put into words. Soon followed Winnie who we also rehomed, but Winnie was different, she was our first breed standard Dogue...this is where the show bug hit...we trained her, and took her to a few shows and managed to qualify for Crufts!!! So summer 2015 we bought two puppies Rumble-Jack and Rouge, who were show trained from the off, and are both also Crufts 2016 and 2017. Rouge is the first Dogue de Bordeaux ever to gain a Junior Warrant title and she is now Crufts qualified for life, going on to win her Crufts classes 2017, 2019 & 2020.
The care of these dogs is a massive task and responsibility, but we wouldn't have it any other way, these animals are our world, and what better way to pass our love and passion for K9s onto the rest of the world, than to run our own grooming salon. Regalrouge Dog Grooming is our onsite grooming salon, we are fully qualified and have been grooming for over 13 years, and are City & Guilds qualified, we pride ourselves on providing a professional service along side providing a happy and relaxed grooming experience for your dog.
